Frequently Asked Questions and Policies

Project Policy:
Before any work is done on a project we meet with you in person to outline clear objectives and your scope of work. Once we have a clear outline of what you want to accomplish, we will put together an estimate for you to review. Within this estimate we will outline all aspects of the work to be done in addition to a production timeline. After you review the project estimate, you will need to sign off on it and return it to us. Once we have the signed estimate, we will get to work on your project.

We require a 50% deposit prior to initiating work on any project. We do offer a payment structure planof 30% up front, 30% upon completion of a major milestone, and the remaining balance upon completion for all projects priced at $6,000 and above.

Terms of all projects under $6,000 are net 30 days. Some projects can be billed at an hourly rate (ie: edits and changes after the scope of work has been completed) and we do offer retainers on a month by month basis with an opt out clause with 30 days notice.

We do bill for changes and updates made outside the original scope of work and for all work and edits done after completion of the initial project. If a request for such work is made, we will issue a Change Order Form that will need to be approved before we can begin work.

All design work receives two initial rounds of creative after a client meeting to outline the project scope. Once a creative direction is established, an additional two additional rounds of edits and changes are allotted within the scope of the project. Major changes in design direction at this time will fall outside of the original scope of work and billing will be adjusted accordingly. The client will own all the rights to the work completed.

We accept all VISA, MasterCard, and PayPal. We also accept checks and money orderspayable to Chiaroscuro Concepts.

Privacy Policy:

We do not collect personal data on our website unless you choose to sign up for our e-newsletter, at which point you will be required to submit your email address. We do not do sell, share or otherwise distribute this information with any other organization and you can opt out at any time.

We reserve the right to change, modify or amend this policy at any time. Please note that whenever you submit any information to us in connection with any Chiaroscuro Concepts services, you consent to our processing of this information in the United States as necessary to provide the services in which you are participating.
